Cost


How much does a system cost?

The cost for a new system, such as a home theater, greatly depends on the components you select. Each system, whether it’s a home theater or security & surveillance system, is custom designed for you. Systems can be as simple or elaborate as desired. The price of a new system can be anywhere from thousands of dollars to tens of thousands of dollars, depending on the size of the home and complexity of the system. Does it cost to get a consultation and an estimate?

Time


How long will the installation take?

Depending on the complexity of the system, constraints at your work site (home), and other factors, your installation time will vary. More elaborate installations, such as custom home theater rooms and projects involving new construction, will take much longer than basic equipment replacements or upgrades. Each project is assigned a professional Project Manager to ensure your installation is delivered on-time and on-budget. We know your time is valuable, and your personal Project Manager will work closely with you throughout your entire installation to ensure that all work is completed in the most convenient way possible for you.


Do I have to do everything all at once? Can I upgrade some services now, and some later?

No, you can build your system piece by piece over time or all at once. Many of our clients use our design services to design their dream systems upfront, then install pieces as their needs grow. For example, pre-wiring a home for future components such as audio, automation, and lighting controls allows you to easily add those features as your family grows or your lifestyle changes.




Service & Warranty


Is there a warranty on the work that's done?

Yes, all our systems include warranties to protect your investment. All installations involving remodel work come with a 1-year warranty against defects. New construction installations feature even longer warranties. All hardware, such as audio and video components are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.


What if something breaks or malfunctions after the installation is complete?

Service is our specialty. All Haven & Wire systems include premium concierge service. Technicians are on-call to assist you in-person. We’re also available to provide support on the phone, via e-mail, and through our “My Haven” account management portal.

Who will be doing the installation in my house?

All work is performed in-house by Haven & Wire employees, not sub-contractors.




Products & Samples


Which products are available for me to choose from?

Haven & Wire offers a premium selection of products for your system. You may also use existing components, or purchase your own components. For a current list of our brands, please contact us.


What if I want a product that’s not available?

Haven & Wire partners with a select group of distributors and manufacturers. If for some reason a product is not available, we have a network of partners and retail sources. We will work with you to ensure you get what you want.
